  • Classes 1 and 2: Solid or stranded conductors, for fixed installations.
  • Classes 5 and 6: Flexible and extra-flexible conductors, for mobile equipment or applications requiring constant bending.

The following tables detail the specifications (number of wires and maximum resistance) according to the standards. IEC 60228, NM 280 (Mercosur) BS 6360 e VDE 0295, which are harmonized with each other. It shows the maximum diameter of the string; there may be fewer filaments, provided the maximum ohms/km is not exceeded.
Ohms Ω / km: shows the maximum permissible resistance for bare copper conductors in the indicated classes.
